The Use of colour through the film

I wanted colour to be reflective of the two different social political environments reflected in the film.

Free New Zealand - the colours are cleaner and the tone is blues and subtle purple, while the People's republic is greens and yellow hues and is meant to be unsettling and reflective of the dirt that exists behind the scenes in Lachlan's life.

Below is a series of shots demonstrating the film's colour pallette and colour progression.
